DAY 01 Atlantic arrival, blue-city evening
Leave Casablanca early and travel north to Chefchaouen. Settle in for an evening walk through the blue medina. This is primarily a travel day; arrival flight times may require an extra night.
DAY 02 From the Rif to the medina
Enjoy a little more time in Chefchaouen before continuing to Fes. Explore nearby lanes after check-in; a full guided city visit requires an additional night.
DAY 03 Across the Middle Atlas to the dunes
Travel south through the Middle Atlas and Ziz Valley toward Merzouga. Plan for a full day on the road, with the desert arrival and any sunset activity dependent on timing.
DAY 04 Valleys, gorges and southern kasbahs
Leave the desert and continue toward the Todra area and Ouarzazate. Pause for scenery where the day's distance allows, then settle into your overnight stop.
DAY 05 An earthen village and an Atlas crossing
Visit Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech. Finish at your accommodation; avoid a same-day early departure flight.
